Solon job fair boasts almost 500 available positions

SOLON, Ohio (WOIO) – The city of Solon and the Solon Chamber of Commerce are hosting a job fair Thursday to help local businesses fill staffing needs and provide residents with work opportunities.

The fair starts at 12 p.m. at the Solon Community Center, officials say, and goes until 4 p.m.

Nearly 500 jobs will be available from over 45 businesses participating, city officials say.

Those looking for a job are encouraged to bring their resumes and be ready for potential on-the-spot interviews.

Solon Chamber President Marilyn Mcmillin says there are all kinds of positions available, including part-time, full-time and seasonal.

Positions available include business and financial operations, sales, healthcare support, manufacturing, production, public safety, food preparation and transportation.

Career and resume guidance will be available from educational sponsors.
