Park City residents Jason and Stefanie Woywod recently purchased the Canyon Corners shopping center in Kimball Junction through their affiliated investment companies.
Canyon Corners features multiple commercial tenants such as Spitz, Mod Pizza, Christy Sports and Whole Foods, plus several affordable housing units, according to a press release.
The couple outbid numerous out-of-state corporations and national investment groups in order to keep the shopping center locally owned.
Jason has worked in the hospitality industry. Alongside his father who emigrated from Germany, the family owned and operated several casino and hotel properties in Nevada. Stefanie is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and a former Las Vegas morning news anchor. Their son is in his third year at McPolin Elementary.
