Travel & Tourism Board seeks community input at Jan. 14 Expo

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board (JHTTB) has announced a community engagement event to showcase the power of tourism in Teton County and gather public feedback. The first-ever Travel & Tourism Expo is open to the entire community on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jackson/Teton County Recreation Center.

This event offers community members an opportunity to engage with more than 30 local organizations dedicated to making Jackson a sustainable place to live, play and visit. Attendees will gain insights into how Teton County’s $1.6 billion tourism industry benefits the community and learn about the Sustainable Destination Management Plan (SDMP) that is shaping the future of tourism in the Tetons.

In conjunction with the expo, tourism industry professionals are invited to a Hospitality Partners Update from 4 to 4:30 p.m. This session will provide visitation forecasts and introduce the new tourism dashboard. RSVPs are required for the Hospitality Partners Update.
