Check out the finds at Batavia Boardwalk Shops this summer

Ten shops are offering unique gifts, merchandise and culinary treats at the Batavia Boardwalk Shops, starting on Friday, May 10.

Enjoy a shopping adventure like no other when the Batavia Boardwalk Shops open for the season.

Shops will open starting Friday, May 10. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 22. Now in the fifth year at Wilson Street and Route 25, the Batavia Boardwalk Shops give the community a chance to celebrate local businesses while discovering one-of-a-kind finds.

Now it the fifth year, Batavia Boardwalk Shops will open on Friday, May 10, with opening day festivities scheduled.

“The community has come to love the boardwalk shops,” said Beth Walker, Executive Director of Batavia Main Street. “They have become a shopping destination and a way for the community to support local entrepreneurs.”

A collaborative partnership between Batavia Main Street and the City of Batavia, the shops were built by volunteer crews, with two of the frames constructed by building trades students from Batavia High School. Opening day activities include a ribbon cutting and live podcast recording by local podcaster Area Code Batavia.

Ten shops are available. Shops include:

  • Home & Garden Provisions, unique home décor and gift items.
  • Seapeak Style, graphic apparel including T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats and accessories.
  • Bewitching Brews, organic functional teas and herbs.
  • Scout & Gem, edgy yet affordable jewelry and home décor.
  • Neighborsgrid Shop, a curated selection of secondhand vintage and modern clothing.
  • Morbid Mementos, art, unique jewelry and goods for people who love the peculiar.
  • Jodi Mac Sweet Treats, a delightful array of sweet treats for every palate.
  • Since Seventy Five Supply Co., an independent, artist-owned lifestyle and apparel brand.
  • Big Bear Brands, classically inspired, biodegradable, polarized sunglasses to raise money for animal shelters and dog rescues in the United States, with 20% of net proceeds donated to these organizations.
  • Home Run Hot Dogs and Lemonade, a family owned and operated business with a traditional and innovative range of menu options.
