Evan Sullivan tossed a two-hitter and struck out five and helped his own cause with three hits to pace Frontier to a 6-1 victory over Jamestown in an Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 baseball game at Martin Road Athletic Complex on Thursday.

Ethan Hediger chipped in two hits, including a double, for the Falcons (8-2, 5-2).

For Jamestown, Dom Weber and Owen Kearney had a hit apiece. Kearney’s single, which came in the fourth inning, plated Weber.

Antonie Rodriguez and Owen Glover shared the pitching duties for the Red & Green (1-9-1, 0-7-1) and allowed 10 hits.

CLYMER — Grant Lictus had two hits, including a triple, drove in a run and scored a run to lead Clymer/Sherman/Panama past Cassadaga Valley 6-5 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 baseball Thursday.

Gavin Burchanowski added two hits, two runs scored and an RBI, while Tate Catanese had a single, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Wolfpack (6-3, 6-2).

Bryce Hinsdale struck out 11 and allowed three hits on the mound, while also adding a double and a run scored at the plate for Clymer/Sherman/Panama.

Owen Pierce doubled and scored a run; Logan Hayward struck out six on the mound; and Bradley Windnagle and Calvin Hilliker each drove in a run for the Cougars (5-4, 5-3).
