For World Password Day, get yourself a password manager

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Chances are your phone or computer already informed you that your passwords are repetitive and weak, but who wants to spend hours creating new, complex passwords that fend off hackers?

For this World Password Day, Atlanta New First Investigates recommends a premium password manager. The managers (some are free) are separate from the preinstalled manager on iPhone and Android and are easy to use on multiple platforms. When users make a change, the update is saved and shared. They offer complex suggestions; some let you know when your password is compromised.

Consumer Reports rated eight desktop and mobile password managers, and nearly half offered free versions or free trials. Here are the managers that topped the list:
