In case you missed it, Wayfair’s annual Way Day sale is back this weekend (May 4 to May 6, 2024). Every year, the sale brings unmissable deals on patio furniture and outdoor decor. We have an entire story dedicated to the best Way Day outdoor furniture deals, but to keep it short and sweet, you can expect to find discounts up to 80% off everything from conversation sets and Adirondack chairs to outdoor rugs, dining sets, planters, outdoor lighting and more.

Amazon shoppers will know that the site is a constant treasure trove of deals if you know where to look. This month, we weren’t surprised to find outdoor deals on both small upgrades like string lights and full outdoor sets. One of our favorites, this four-piece set with a loveseat, two chairs and a coffee table is 20% off now. A GH product analyst who tested the set found it both comfortable and attractive and shared that it has held up well for more than two years on a covered patio.

Some of the best outdoor furniture at Walmart is on sale right now. This sectional-dining set hybrid includes seating for seven and a wicker table with plenty of space for cocktails and dinner plates, while this daybed with a retractable canopy will bring major resort vibes to your backyard.

Article is one of our favorite places to shop for affordable outdoor furniture high on style. The brand’s sale section has some great options available now, and even more to come during its Memorial Day sale later this month. During Target’s Spring Home Sale, take up to 40% off just about anything you need to refresh your space ahead of the summer — outdoor furniture and decor, included.

It also comes with a high price tag to match, so it’s smart to keep your eye out for sales — though, they are few and far between. The brand will almost certainly have a Memorial Day sale, but its last-chance clearance and open box section are where you’ll find the steepest markdowns.

Hint: The sale is also happening in retail locations, so if you prefer to shop in person, Lowe’s would be a great place to try this weekend.

Pottery Barn is prepping for “warmer days ahead” — its hosting an outdoor and garden sale right now with discounts up to 50% off.

If you ask us, Anthropologie is an underrated home store. Its having a shop-for-credit promo this weekend, where if you spend $150, you’ll get a $50 store credit, and if you spend $300, you’ll get a $100 store credit. AllModern is having its Biggest Sale of the Year this weekend with up to 70% off all things home and outdoor — with the site’s mid-century modern twist, of course.

Nathan James’ furniture has a specific blend of boho-chic meets modern, making the brand perfect if your tastes lie somewhere between the two popular aesthetics. Its outdoor furniture is no exception, and many styles are on sale now — most pieces are under $1,000.

What to consider when shopping for the best outdoor furniture deals

When it comes time to shop, Sachs recommends considering how much space you have and how many people you expect to use it to decide what pieces you need. Adirondack chairs are great for casual family hangouts, while an outdoor dining table would take weekend dinner parties to the next level.

Also, pay close attention to weather-resistance claims: The material you choose (wood, metal, rattan, plastic, etc.) and the manufacturing (does it have a waterproof coating, or not?) will determine if your furniture needs to be covered overnight, stored for winter and so on, to extend its lifespan.
