As part of the statewide initiative to highlight career opportunities and workforce development, Marion is participating in the In-Demand Jobs Week (May 6-10), celebrating the abundance of employment opportunities available in the region.
In-Demand Jobs Week highlights the diverse range of careers accessible to residents, emphasizing industries experiencing growth and seeking skilled professionals.
“Whatever jobs companies are looking to fill, Marion is ready to help you find and train those employees. With Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion and Tri-Rivers Career Center, we can bring the training straight to your front door,” said Tami Galloway, project manager for America’s Workforce Development Capital.
Ohio’s top jobs are in the fields of education, manufacturing, engineering, business and information technology (IT).
“From our new Intel-approved semi-conductor micro-certificates to our new bachelor of science in nursing to customized workforce training, Marion Tech is ready to help students start new careers or advance,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Tech.
