PORTAGE, MI — When the opportunity to open a D1 training facility in the Kalamazoo area first arose, Jon Reisterer knew it was something he could wake up every day and get excited about.
That excitement, which he shares with his wife Maija, led to the couple signing a franchising agreement last April. After a 13-month journey, the couple will open the doors to D1 Kalamazoo on Monday, May 13.
