Comanche Nation Entertainment partnering with OBI for May blood drives

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Comanche Nation Entertainment has announced that during May, they are partnering with Our Blood Institute to host three blood drives.

The blood drives are being held to address the ongoing donor shortage across Southwest Oklahoma.

The blood drives will be held at:

• Comanche Star Casino on Thursday, May 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Comanche Nation Casino on Tuesday, May 21 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Comanche Red River Hotel and Casino on Wednesday, May 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Comanche Nation Entertainment is offering guests who donate blood additional incentives, including free t-shirts and $10 in Comanche Credit.

According to Our Blood Institute, someone needs blood in the state every two seconds, and one blood donation can save up to three lives. Blood transfusions are often needed for those involved in car crashes, surgeries, and other treatments for cancer patients or other illnesses.
