SA Parks and Recreation looking for teams for adult basketball, volleyball Spring Sports Slam Tournaments

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department is looking for adult participants for its Spring Sports Slam Tournaments for basketball and volleyball.

The free events give people an opportunity to build a team and showcase their athletic skills.

Basketball tournament

The basketball tournament will be held at 9 a.m. on May 18 at the Cuellar Community Center at 5626 San Fernando.

Volleyball tournament

The volleyball tournament will be held at 9 a.m. on May 18 at Woodlawn Gym on 1103 Cincinnati Avenue.

Space limited; registration information

Registration for each tournament closes at 2 p.m. May 16 or whenever the teams are full, whichever comes first.

The free tournaments are intended for participants 18 years and up, and space for eight teams is available for each one.
