WESTPORT — A group of Westport high school students is organizing the second annual “Heartbeat for Hope” fitness benefit for the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.
The students, who attend Staples High School and Greens Farms Academy, are members of the junior board of Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, and hope to raise $30,000 this year.
The first fundraiser is set for noon Saturday, May 18, and another at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Orange Theory Fitness, 645 Post Road East.
For registration details, scan the QR code on the accompanying poster. There is no entry fee.
Teams of three will compete in various athletic challenges at the events. Teams that raise the most money can win prizes, including tickets to MLB, NBA and NFL games, as well as gift baskets and more.
