UnBar Cafe owner takes top K prize at JumpStart’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Melissa Garrett, owner of UnBar Cafe in Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, has won the $20,000 top prize at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase.

The Tuesday evening event, hosted at Cleveland’s House of Blues, celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program, a 12-week accelerator that provides entrepreneurs with personalized advice and business training.

The event featured a pitch competition emceed by Josh and Maria Cribbs and was presented by the Cleveland Browns. Josh Cribbs is a former wide receiver for the Browns. He and his wife, Maria Cribbs, host a local television talk show.
