The Alabaster Career Center is Hosting a Multi-Employer Job Fair

Alabaster – The Alabaster Career Center is hosting a Multi-Employer Job Fair for Transportation, Heavy Equipment, Warehousing and Shipping & Receiving. There will be representatives from employers and training providers partners as well as schools approved for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA can assist jobseekers with training in these career fields. Some employers will include, Coca-Cola, AIDT, Jefferson State Community College, Sysco, Shelby County 9-1-1, 160 Driving Academy, Midstate Driving Academy, Move Gurus, Alabama Department of Public Health, Alabama Department of Corrections, ESD School LLC, Southeastern Food Merchandisers and Lhoist.

The job fair will be held on Thursday May 16th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Alabaster Career Center located at 109 Plaza Cir, Alabaster, AL 35007

The Alabama Career Center System (ACCS) is part of the Alabama Department of Labor’s Employment Services Division. The ACCS operates 57 Career Centers throughout the state, touching all 67 counties.
