Police: Crooks enter Miami shopping plaza via roof to try to break into jewelry store

MIAMI – Miami police are investigating an attempted burglary that was reported Monday morning at a jewelry store.

According to police, officers responded to Ashley Jewelry, located at 4561 NW Seventh St. just after 3:30 a.m.

Police said at least one person entered a medical office via the roof and then made a hole in the wall to gain access to the jewelry store.

According to police, nothing was stolen from the business.

No other details were immediately released.
