Carbon Removal Jobs Platform CDRjobs Launches To Spur The Industry Growth
Job seekers in the carbon dioxide removal (CDR) industry now have a dedicated source to look for their next career. A new job seekers platform CDRjobs launched on May 13th that will feature jobs in CDR, alongside unique industry insights.
According to the announcement, there are currently 655 jobs across 152 companies in CDR across 27 countries, looking for the next talent to scale the sector to the size needed to make a meaningful contribution to emission reduction strategies.

The website was launched by Sebastian Manhart, Senior Policy Advisor at Carbonfuture, specializing in carbon removal, with fellow CDRjobs team Adam Feldman, Etienne Thiery, Tank Chen, and Helen Lundebye. It was previously known as carbonremovaljobs.com, a venture founded by Adam Feldman that has been acquired by the newly incorporated CDRjobs.
Users on the platform can sign up for customized jobs and insights. The full website is expected to be launched in the summer.

“Fewer than 6,000 people in the world today work in the entire CDR industry. For context, over 60,000 people work at oil & gas giant, Exxon. To get to the scale of CDR we need to avoid catastrophic climate change, we need many many more talented people involved!,” shared Adam Feldman in a LinkedIn post.
