Tauck will expand river product with new itineraries, training

Tauck is expanding its river cruise program with new itineraries in 2025 and a sailing with educational and training opportunities for advisors specializing in river cruising.

On the new-itinerary front, the company will launch a 14-day Romantic Capitals: Paris to Prague itinerary beginning April 25. The journey kicks off with a two-night stay in Prague at the Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel before embarking on a nine-day river cruise from Regensberg to Trier on the Upper Danube, Main-Danube Canal, Rhine and Moselle rivers.

Following the cruise, guests travel on land to Luxembourg for a walking tour of the capital city before boarding a train to Paris where the journey caps off with a two-night stay at L’Hotel du Collectionneur.

Ten departures of this itinerary will be available between April and October next year onboard the Savor and Joy ships. Fares begin at $9,790 per person.

An on-river training academy for advisors

Tauck also is launching a river cruise academy in October onboard the Joy.

The Tauck River Academy will take place during a 10-day Three Rivers: Danube, Main & Rhine itinerary. The academy will be Tauck’s first event focused exclusively on the river product and will include a variety of educational and training activities, along with immersive excursion experiences while on the trip.

Advisors who complete the academy will become Tauck-Certified Advisors, which comes with a slate of benefits, including exclusive offers for clients, advance notification of news and events and opportunities to save on personal travel.
