World of Warcraft: Best MoP Remix Classes, Ranked
In Mists of Pandaria Remix, the latest limited-time event for World of Warcraft, players are encouraged to return to the lands of Pandaria to level up new characters and earn a huge variety of collectibles and cosmetics. This isn’t MoP Classic, though – all Dragonflight classes, specs, and abilities are available.

WoW Season of Discovery – What Class Should You Play?
All nine classes in World of Warcraft Classic got major updates in the Season of Discovery – but which class should you play in SoD?
Despite all the differences in actual retail, there aren’t many strong distinctions for each of the MoP Remix classes ranked below – with all the new powers and upgrades available, the difference between the best and worst classes is pretty negligible. But there is one clear winner, and one that doesn’t quite match up to other options mostly thanks to its slow leveling speed.
5 S-Tier: Pandaren Monk
Of all the thirteen classes available in retail WoW, there is one clear winner for which class you should play in MoP Remix: Pandaren Monk. Obviously, Pandaria itself is the homeplace of the Pandaren, and both the playable race and the Monk class were added with the original launch of Mists of Pandaria.
Pandaren Monks are few and far between in retail WoW, and they are far from the most popular race/class combo so many expansions down the line. But in MoP Remix, the class/race combo feels right at home in the game’s far-eastern-inspired setting – and with all the new power ups and upgrades to the normal gameplay, the sometimes lackluster class is about strong with every other, too.
If you’ve never had a Monk before, or have been put off by the playerbase’s relatively lukewarm reception to it in recent years, give it a go during MoP Remix to see what it’s all about.
4 A-Tier: Evoker, Druid, Priest
Aside from the Pandaren Monk, which suits the MoP Remix aesthetic just a bit too perfectly, the differences between the rankings in this MoP Remix class tier list are very minor.

World of Warcraft: 8 Best Transmog Sets For Monks
Monks of World of Warcraft have a few incredibly good-looking transmog sets that are well worth the grind to get. Here are the coolest ones.
At A-Tier sits the Evoker, the Druid, and the Shaman classes.
-
Evokers
are
worth trying out in MoP Remix
because it is the only way to skip past the Evoker intro and take time to learn the class from Level 10. In
The War Within
Evokers will start at Level 10 like everyone else, but until that launches, this is the only way to level one up the “normal” way. -
Druids
are the most versatile class in
WoW
, but are typically thought of as a Jack-of-all-trades but a master of none. With all the ways to increase your power and expand your normal ability list in
MoP Remix
, Druids feel exceptional, and will be one of the best classes for group and solo play. -
Priests
are top of the charts in terms of DPS in
Dragonflight
, and because
MoP Remix
uses
Dragonflight
-era class abilities and builds, that prowess naturally carries over to the new game mode. Shadow Priests are exceptional DPS, especially in
MoP Remix
, when played correctly.
3 B-Tier: Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Mage, Hunter
The B-Tier and, to a lesser extent, the C-Tier classes are mostly options that don’t fall under the category of Pandaren Monk or have particular reasons that make them stand out in MoP Remix. Evokers start at 10 for the first time, Druids break out of the Jack-of-all-trades box, and Priests are still capable of dealing the most damage, but that doesn’t make B or C tier classes not worth picking.
In B-Tier, we have Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Mage, and Hunter.

When Does WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria End?
Thanks to The War Within Alpha, players might have the end date for this limited-time mode in World of Warcraft.
-
Death Knights
can be complicated to learn but Unholy and Frost are both quite fun in their own ways, and
Demon Hunters
are much simpler, but still serve as effective DPS and Tanks both. Both of the edgiest classes in
WoW
are great for
MoP Remix
if you haven’t had time to delve into their nuances. -
Mages
and
Hunters
are ranked in B-Tier because of their ability to solo world content. Though these are both classes relegated entirely to the DPS role, and will have a harder time getting into instanced content, Mages and Hunters can breeze through regular quests and farm mobs for extra Bronze better than just about anyone else.
2 C-Tier: Shaman, Warlock, Paladin
The Shaman, Warlock, and Paladin classes are ranked in C-Tier, which might make some think that they are not worth picking for MoP Remix. But the thing is, these classes just don’t particularly stand out in revamped content that is meant to encourage players to try new things and play the game differently.

World of Warcraft: 15 Best Transmog Sets for Demon Hunters
Here’s what the finest transmog sets look like for Demon Hunters in Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.
-
Shaman
can be great for DPS and Tanking, but rank lower than other options in
Dragonflight
rankings pretty consistently. -
Warlocks
and
Paladins
both bring utility and unique ways to approach group content, like being able to summon allies with the portal, or provide Auras for others. But because of Scrolls that do these exact same things that
drop from Caches of Infinite Treasure
, the benefits of the Warlock and Paladin classes aren’t exactly going to be utilized as much. -
Like Shamans,
Warriors
have the capability to be great DPS and Tanks both, and won’t have a hard time finding groups if you go with the latter. But generally, Warriors aren’t too interesting to play, and being melee means pressing a lot of buttons to be effective – which can be hard on the wrists.
1 Worst MoP Remix Classes: Rogue
Generally, you can’t go wrong with your class choice in MoP Remix, but there is one exception: Rogue. Rogues are perfectly viable in MoP Remix thanks to the new Gem abilities, Cloak upgrades, and other systems meant to empower players.
But leveling Rogues can take longer than normal because of the inability to deal lots of AoE damage – they are amazing single-target damage dealers, but you have to put in a lot of effort to level efficiently with a Rogue.
Additionally, with the lack of World PvP and PvP not being a major focus of MoP Remix, Rogues’ Subtlety spec is not put to full use. Assassination and especially Outlaw can be amazing in group content and Raids, but in the PvE world, Rogues have a harder time than anyone else.
Pick Rogue for the class fantasy, or if you want to try it out in The War Within. But be prepared for the experience to be a bit arduous at first, as you figure out the complicated rotations and learn how to effectively take on more than a few enemies at once.
