RICHMOND, Va. (May 18, 2024) – The pairings are set for the 2024 CAA Baseball Championship, which will be held May 22-25 at Brooks Field on the campus of UNCW in Wilmington, N.C.

The six-team, double-elimination tournament gets underway on Wednesday, May 22 as fourth-seeded Delaware (29-24, 16-11 in CAA) faces #5 William & Mary (30-24, 13-14 in CAA) at Noon, followed by #3 Northeastern (38-15, 18-9 in CAA) against #6 Hofstra (23-31, 13-14 in CAA) at 4 p.m.

On Thursday, action starts at 11 a.m. with an elimination game between the losers of Wednesday’s contests. Top-seeded Charleston (39-12, 21-5 in CAA) takes on the lowest-seeded winner from Wednesday’s games at 3 p.m., followed by #2 UNCW (36-19, 20-7 in CAA) against the highest-seeded winner from Wednesday’s contests at 7 p.m.

Tournament action continues with three games on Friday and another at 1 p.m. on Saturday, setting the stage for the CAA championship game set at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

All games of the CAA Baseball Championship will be streamed on FloBaseball.tv (FloSports.tv/caa).

Game 4 – #1 Charleston vs. Lowest-seeded Game 1/2 winner – 3 p.m.

Game 5 – #2 UNCW vs. Highest-seeded Game 1/2 winner – 7 p.m.

 

Friday, May 24

Game 6 – Winner of Game 3 vs. Lowest-seeded Game 4/5 loser – 11 a.m.

Game 7 – Winner of Game 6 vs. Highest-seeded Game 4/5 loser – 3 p.m.

Game 8 – Winner of Game 4 vs. Winner of Game 5 – 7 p.m.

 

Saturday, May 25

Game 9 – Winner of Game 7 vs. Loser of Game 8 – 1 p.m.
