Local business to host Family Fun Extravaganza
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) – A local business is hosting an event for families at the Clarksburg City Park in Nutter Fort the first weekend in June.
Cartoon Headquarters Fun Zone will host their Family Fun Extravaganza event on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2.
A variety of family activities will be featured, including carnival rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, fireworks, live music, craft vendors, axe throwing and a mechanical bull.
The event begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and ends with fireworks at 10 p.m. On Sunday, the event opens back up at 11 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m.
The Lewis & Clark Circus, Grant Kemmerer & Friends Wild World of Animals and Three Monkeys Photo Emporium will be in attendance at the event.
Organizer James Vanscoy said admission into the park is free, but vendors will be set up selling their items. There will be a charge for activities, but live music, petting zoo and fireworks are free.
