9 Anthropologie wedding guest dresses to shop for this season

Without fail, Anthropologie is one of those premier destinations that always turns heads. Whether you’re donned in a head-to-toe ensemble as a wedding guest or ready to take some semi-formal styles with you on vacation, you’d be remiss to skip Anthropologie.

From midi to maxi and everything in between, the one-of-a-kind retailer offers styles, patterns and fits like no other.

“Anthropologie carries an unforgettable collection of dresses in every style, color and silhouette, made with quality materials and craftsmanship, making our dresses a cult-favorite among new and existing customers,” Kyla Flax, head of styling at Anthropologie, exclusively told the New York Post. “Our price point is accessible, and our size  range is inclusive – both factors are paramount to our brand!”

In true Post Wanted fashion, we curated an edit of the best Anthropologie wedding guest dresses to shop this season so you can look and feel your best. Of course, Flax offers her favorite pieces as well, giving us an inside perspective as you’re adding styles to your carts.

“Our fashion aesthetic is playful, feminine, artistic and classic all at once,” she added. “Our core  customers respond to feminine-forward silhouettes with a touch of whimsy, so this look and-feel is echoed in our assortment, through-and-through.”

Spring and Summer 2024 wedding guest dress trends

According to Flax, an influx of feminine, frothy, sheer, diaphanous looks are populating the racks right now, all of which are fun to accessorize.

“Try a big satin hair bow, a floral earring, a soft, oversized clutch or strappy wrap-up sandal,” Flax advised. “On the other hand, we are also seeing so many sleek, 90s-minimalism styles come through with clean new necklines, mini and maxi styles that are  easy to accessorize with pieces you most likely already have in your closet.”

Mini dresses are a popular style right now as well. “With their playful allure and flirtatious charm,  minis offer endless possibilities for both casual outings and special occasions,” Flax said. “They can take you from brunch dates with friends to weddings and rooftop soirees — and the best part is that they allow you to effortlessly transition from day to night! “

What’s more, wearing a mini dress as a wedding guest blends elegance with individuality. “Select one adorned with delicate floral prints or subtle lace details, then complement your dress with a pair of pumps and pair it with a clutch to elevate your look — perfectly suited for beachside ceremonies or intimate backyard weddings,” Flax recommended.

Anthropologie

Among all Anthropologie styles, the BHLDN Ruby Twist Halter Satin Gown is one of our favorites. Hailing from an in-house brand that Flax loves, the elegant style’s criss-cross detailing looks photogenic in pictures, perfect for your next spring or summer wedding.

Additionally, it’s offered in plus sizes and a roster of shades to choose from. When paired with the Pearl Loop Chain Drop Earrings and Vicenza Square-Toe Heels, you’re golden.
