Comanche Nation Entertainment to host blood drives in May

LAWTON, Oklahoma (KAUZ) – Comanche Nation Entertainment is partnering with Our Blood Institute to host three public blood drives across Oklahoma.

The three different locations and times for each of the blood drives can be found below:

• Comanche Star Casino – Thursday, May 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Comanche Nation Casino – Tuesday, May 21 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Comanche Red River Hotel and Casino – Wednesday, May 22, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Guests who donate blood will receive a health screening, blood pressure, and cholesterol check prior to donating and also receive free incentives like t-shirts and $10 in Comanche Credit.

Comanche Nation Entertainment hosts these drives yearly as part of its community-giving initiative Comanche Cares, which addresses the state’s high demand for blood donations. According to Our Blood Institute, someone needs blood in the state every two seconds, and one blood donation can save up to three lives.
