$70 million invested into new Henderson sports complex set for approval

HENDERSON, Nev. (FOX5) – The City of Henderson announced a new state-of-the-art indoor sports complex coming to the its west area.

The complex is recommended for approval at a city council meeting on July 2.

The complex would be built behind Chicken N Pickle. It’s said to be a sports and entertainment venue that is currently under construction on the southeast coroner of St. Rose and Maryland parkways.

The planned 180,000 square-foot, two-level facility is anticipated to have the following features:

• Basketball courts that can convert to other court uses such as volleyball and pickleball
• Hybrid turf fields for sports like indoor soccer, box lacrosse and indoor football
• Birthday party and community rooms
• Family entertainment to potentially feature bowling, laser tag, arcade games, miniature golf and a restaurant and bar

The West Henderson indoor sports complex is a $70-million investment with funds provided through the private third-party partner and one-time funding sources.
