Brooklynn Is Alive In Jurassic World: Chaos Theory
Brooklynn Went Into Hiding After Being Targeted by the DPW
The Jurassic World: Chaos Theory trailer revealed that Brooklynn died before the events of the show. Throughout Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 1, the Nublar Six learn that Brooklynn’s death was no accident, and they spend quite some time trying to discern why someone would want to kill her. However, the last moment of the season reveals that Brooklynn is actually alive. A Department of Prehistoric Wildlife officer named Ronnie messages her to inform her that Cabrera is dead. The communication implies that she might have at least one person on the inside helping her survive after the attempted assassination.
Ronnie is the second DPW officer in the series who is shown working against the interests of the institution. It’s unclear whether these two are part of a bigger resistance within the company or if they’re independent of one another. In either case, Brooklynn will surely need the help of others like this if she hopes to take down the underground dinosaur sales – which seems to be her mission.
Brooklynn’s arm was likely taken off during the allosaurus attack, which would explain why her screams got louder at a certain point in the video and flashbacks.
Brooklynn Lost Her Arm While Escaping The Allosaurus
Because the exact way Brooklynn escaped isn’t explained, details must be pieced together to get an idea of what might have happened that night. The biggest and most obvious clue is the fact that Brooklynn is missing an arm. The blood from the attack was what made the DPW officer on site, Mateo, think that she was dead, to begin with. Brooklynn’s arm was likely taken off during the allosaurus attack, which would explain why her screams got louder at a certain point in the video and flashbacks.
It’s plausible that Ronnie helped her escape the allosaurus attack after her injury. This would explain how she knows Brooklynn is alive and has a way to contact her. Additionally, since they speak through the website Dark Jurassic, this implies the website fosters a community working together. Others on the website could be helping her at the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 1. One of them would’ve certainly had the survival supplies necessary to help Brooklynn heal after the attack.
What Was Brooklynn After In Jurassic World: Chaos Theory?
Brooklynn Started Researching Illegal Dinosaur Sales
As the Nublar Six discover, Brooklynn had a secret mission she was working on prior to the allosaurus attack in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. They discover that she had a secret apartment, went to visit Kenji’s dad, and was tracking DPW dinosaurs. She also had a duffle bag full of money in her closet with a note about a business deal. The very fact that she might be involved in the dinosaur sales perplexes the group because it seems so out of character for her.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Producers On Darker, More Mature New Story After Camp Cretaceous
Screen Rant interviews producers Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley on Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, the sequel to Netflix’s Camp Cretaceous.
However, the fact that the DPW set up the attack on her hints that she might have been working against them by getting involved in the dinosaur sales, planning to take them down from the inside. Brooklynn also could have gotten her hands on information that makes her dangerous, which would explain why she is in hiding. It also would make sense of the DPW press releases and the “asset” invoice that Darius finds at her secret apartment. The corkboard at the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 2 furthers this theory. She has the following put up on her board:
- Articles from Dark Jurassic
- Maps
- Blueprints
- Pictures of dinosaurs
- A document with dinosaur images of dinosaur skulls
- Sticky notes
- A paper with a silhouette of a person
- A photo of the Nublar Six
These hint at the fact that she might be looking to identify and find someone involved in the dinosaur trade. Additionally, while seeming sentimental at first, the photo of the Nublar Six would fit in with the theory. After all, the DPW is trying to kill the teens, seemingly to prevent them from discovering what Brooklynn knew and outing the assassination plot.
Who Is After The Nublar Six?
Two Groups Are Working Together To Take Down The Nublar Six
The inciting incident that brings the Nublar Six back together in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 1 is the fact that an unknown person or organization is hunting them down, which starts with the assassination attempt on Brooklynn. When Ben, Yaz, and Sammy try to leave the island, the DPW shoots out their tires so that the dinosaurs can kill them, leading the group to believe the organization is trying to kill them. This is a horrifying revelation because the group is meant to protect humans from dinosaurs, not use them to attack humans.
The Nublar Six are partially correct in the belief that the DPW is after them, but it turns out that a second person working with the organization actually instigated and controlled the attacks. This mysterious woman controls the trained atrociraptors who repeatedly try to kill the Nublar Six throughout the series. When Cabrera tries to put a stop to their work together, she makes the atrociraptors kill him.

Because of the connection with Sonoya Santos, they likely will get more than they bargained for when they figure out the size and scope of the dinosaur smuggling trade.

The conflict between them and the mysterious woman also cannot be over. She still had every intention of killing the group with her atrociraptors until backup arrived, and she looked angry about having to back down. The Nublar Six will undoubtedly have another showdown with the mysterious woman in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 2
Lastly, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 2 must handle the Brooklynn situation.
