Meghan facing fashion ‘nightmare’ as Sussexes gear up for global blitz
Meghan Markle might face a considerable fashion “nightmare” as she and Prince Harry consider expanding their operations abroad.
The Duchess of Sussex looked stunning during their three-day visit to Nigeria as she deployed a mix of new and reused outfits for her public outings with the Duke to promote their work.
She is estimated to have invested £120,000 in new clothes and accessories but was also spotted in familiar ensembles she had showed off on previous engagements.
Meghan has reportedly engaged the help of a personal stylist to guide her through the fashion demands of an international visit – and might need to do so again should travelling become the norm for her and Harry.
Asked about the pressure the Duchess faced to look good while in Nigeria, expert Jennie Bond said: “It must be a nightmare, mustn’t it? Oh goodness me.
“I presume she had a stylist or someone to help her with it. And she looked fantastic.”
Times Radio host Rosie Wright highlighted the demands Meghan faced during the three-day visit, which included a variety of outings – noting she would have to strike the right balance to succeed.
Wright said: “We were also led to believe that Meghan Markle has maybe deployed a stylist for the first time.
“She is so elegant in the outfits that she wears but you make a mistake with something like an outfit, that can dominate the entire discussion.
“She was very careful in wearing things she’d already worn before and it looked very tailored. Nods to her heritage to make sure she fitted in but stood [out] in one of her outfits, a really striking yellow dress she’d worn before.”
