Williamsburg Premium Outlets is gearing up for National Outlet Shopping Day with deals, limited-time giveaways and center-wide experiences.

Williamsburg Premium Outlets is one of more than 90 Simon Premium Outlets and The Mills properties throughout the United States and Canada commemorating National Outlet Shopping Day 2024. More than 70 Williamsburg Premium Outlets retailers, including Coach Outlet, Sunglass Hut, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle Outfitters, Under Armour, and Levi’s Outlet are taking part.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9 at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets at 5715 Richmond Road in Williamsburg. For updates on participating retailers and National Outlet Shopping Day deals, visit the Williamsburg Premium Outlets website.

Williamsburg Premium Outlets Welcomes HeyDude

Williamsburg Premium Outlets recently announced that HeyDude opened its doors near Brooks Brothers Factory Outlet and Michael Kors Outlet. HeyDude makes shoes for men, women, and children.

Additionally, it was announced that Crocs moved into a newly renovated space. Located near Jockey and Carter’s, the retailer recently got a full makeover and reopened on May 11.

Norfolk International Airport Reports on April 2024 Activity

Norfolk International Airport (ORF) reported a 5.5% increase in passenger activity for April with 394,447 passengers compared to a count of 373,734 in April 2023.

Last month was the busiest April in the airport’s history and was the 15th consecutive month of record-setting passenger activity, it said. From January to April , the total passenger count increased 10.1%, representing 1,371,414 passengers compared to 1,245,840 passengers during the same period in 2023.

In other activity, 3,888,008 pounds of cargo were shipped in and out of the airport during April, an 18.4% decrease compared to April 2023. Cargo pounds shipped from January to April have decreased 24.2%, representing 15,099,378 cargo pounds versus 19,920,681 cargo pounds during last year’s first quarter.

These figures reflect service by scheduled airlines Allegiant, American, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, United and their airline partners, as well as charter airlines. All-cargo carriers include Federal Express and UPS.

ABNB Federal Credit Union Holds 64th Annual Meeting

ABNB Federal Credit Union held its 64th Annual Business Meeting April 30.

During the meeting, Randolyn Patterson and Wesley M. Parker were re-elected as Directors each serving a three-year term. Christopher Clements was elected as Director serving a three-year term.

At the Boards’ reorganizational meeting held immediately following the Annual Business Meeting, the following officers were announced: Marvin Brangan will continue serving as Chairman, Randolyn Patterson will continue as Vice Chairman, and Wesley M. Parker will continue as Treasurer and Secretary.

Alewerks Brewing Company Releases Taste for Thrills in Collaboration with Busch Gardens

Alewerks Brewing Company announced a new beer — Taste for Thrills — a 5% International Lager brewed in collaboration with Busch Gardens in celebration of the 2024 Food & Wine Festival.

The festival boasts over 150 international flavors and 85 specialty menu items alongside the newly reimagined Loch Ness Monster roller coaster and traditional park offerings.

Taste for Thrills is available on draft and in cans around the park.
