Man accused of stealing boat from Hendersonville business
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A man was arrested Thursday for stealing a boat from a Hendersonville business.
Hendersonville Police Department says they received a report from TNT Water Sports of a fraud incident involving 24-year-old Chase Brodie Brown which led to his arrest.
The report claimed Brown stole a boat from the business through multiple fraudulent actions.
Investigators found that Brown was involved in several criminal activities which included defrauding TNT Water Sports during the purchase of a boat from their business.
Brown was taken into custody Thursday, and is charged with one count of theft of property over $10,000 and one count of criminal simulation. Additional charges are anticipated.
His bond is set at $300,000. Brown’s court date has been set for June 21, 2024 in Sumner County General Sessions Court.
