There’s no shortage of things to do this weekend in Colorado Springs. Feast at some of the city’s best food trucks; check out the grand reopening of the Space Foundation Discovery Center; or soak up some sun at Memorial Park for the annual Get Outdoors Day event. 

SUNDAY

Go really really hungry Sunday for the Battle of the Food Trucks, 50 of them. And you can vote to help choose the best. Along with eating, live music, a Bristol Brewing beer garden, kids’ zone, Octane & Iron Car Show, petting zoo. In what’s called Meanwhile Block, 425 S. SATURDAY

Time for the highly anticipated grand reopening of the Space Foundation Discovery Center, 4425 Arrowswest Drive, with 3,000 square feet of new space to see, experience and learn about. A state-of-the-art Drone Zone and Boeing Additive Manufacturing Space Laboratory. The day includes food trucks and workshops. Tickets: discoverspace.org

The 40th El Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Car Show is the annual celebration to fund Hispanic scholarships through a day of fun.
