Fujiyama in Fairmont closes after 12 years in business
FAIRMONT, W.Va (WDTV) – A well-known Japanese Steakhouse in Marion County is closing its doors after more than a decade in business.
Fujiyama — located at Marion Square in Fairmont — announced their last day of operations was May 31, 2024. The restaurant was known for its Asian cuisine with locally-inspired names.
The roughly 2,500 square foot building has been put up for lease by Black Diamond Realty for $15.36 per square foot per year. According to the leasing paperwork, the majority of the equipment for the restaurant is staying.
The steakhouse opened in July 2012. It’s unknown what led the owners to close.
