Kansas man caught running from business burglary
SHAWNEE COUNTY–Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an arrest.
Just before 2:30 a.m. June 6, police were dispatched to the 405 NW Lyman in Topeka reference a burglary alarm at the business, according to Police Lt. Manuel Munoz.
Officers saw an individual inside the business committing a burglary. The suspect ran out the side door and was apprehended a short distance from the business.
As a result of the investigation, Donald R. Koch, 46, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Burglary, Criminal damage to property, Felony Interference with LEO; obstruction, Possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, Possession of drug paraphernalia
