Luxury living for Arlington-based fans of the reigning World Series champion Texas Rangers is about to be as smooth as a Nolan Ryan fastball.

The Texas Rangers baseball franchise and The Cordish Companies hosted a “topping off ceremony” Monday to celebrate a major construction milestone at the first and only upscale residential community in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District.

The luxury apartments at One Rangers Way will be within walking distance of Rangers and Dallas Cowboys games. One Rangers Way continues the incredible momentum of new development in the Entertainment District that began with the opening of Texas Live! in 2018, officials said in a press release.

“One Rangers Way will bring an upscale residential component to the Arlington Entertainment District, which has become one of the fastest growing sports and entertainment destinations in the country,” said Texas Rangers managing partner and majority owner Ray Davis said. “This project also reflects the tradition of the Rangers as many of the franchise’s legendary players are being incorporated into the branding of the building. I Iook forward to its opening in just a few months.”

The 300-unit building offers a variety of floor plans and apartment sizes including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse apartment homes, with units starting in the $1,500s.

The location in the heart of the Entertainment District ensures that these apartments are the place to be for home series at Globe Life Field

“One Rangers Way will celebrate the rich history of the Texas Rangers and showcase a unique design and curated art collection inspired by the Rangers and America’s favorite pastime,” said Jacqueline Tammaro, a spokeswoman for One Rangers Way and account executive for public relations firm Gregory FCA. “Floor plans have been thoughtfully named to pay homage to Rangers legends, milestones, and the ballpark experience.”

Pre-leasing is underway and occupancy is expected in January 2025.

A Star-Studded Celebration

Monday’s topping-off ceremony was worthy of a World Series victory parade.

Texas Rangers Executive Vice President Rob Matwick, Cordish Companies COO Zed Smith, and Arlington Mayor Jim Ross joined the festivities to celebrate a one-of-a-kind opportunity for full-time residents and those whose luxury apartment at One Rangers Way will serve as a second home.
