Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 pricing for India leaks ahead of launch

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 India price has leaked along with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 pricing. This information comes a day after it was revealed that both upcoming foldable phones will get a $100 price hike in the US compared to their predecessors.

Although their launch is a month away, their design, features, and specifications have leaked already.

According to tipster @chunvn8888, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be priced at INR 1,04,999 ($1,257) for the 256GB version. The 256GB version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will reportedly be priced at INR 1,59,999 ($1,915). The pricing of higher storage variants of both phones will be higher than the base models.

In comparison, the base models of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 were priced at INR 99,999 (~$1,197) and INR 154,999 (~$1,860), respectively. So, this appears to be a price hike of INR 5,000 for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will reportedly continue with the same design as its predecessor. However, it features a better hinge and a less visible crease on the internal display. It has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB. It will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

It will reportedly feature a 50MP primary camera, capable of offering 2x optical quality zoom through in-sensor crop. It will reportedly have a 10MP selfie camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It could run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box and come with a promise of seven major Android OS updates.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will reportedly have a titanium frame and a more boxy design. It is expected to feature a wider and shorter screen for improved usability. It will use the same cameras as its predecessor. However, it could be powered by a slightly bigger battery and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Both upcoming foldable phones from Samsung could have a capacitive fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
