Experts travel to NEA to repair hail-damaged vehicles

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A local body shop brings in backup due to the aftermath of recent severe storms.

Recent hailstorms have left behind lots of little dents in cars across the region. When severe storms hit, local body shops and insurance companies collaborate with hail damage experts to provide quicker repairs for people in need.

The nationwide company Good Guys Hail Pros is temporarily operating from The Wreck Doctor, 2211 N. Church St.

Aaron Theall is a hail damage professional with Good Guys. Theall has been in Jonesboro for a couple of weeks, repairing up to five cars a day. He said customers are the top priority.

“A lot of people don’t have rentals so we try to keep that in mind,” Theall said. “If we can get a vehicle done in two or three days, then it makes it easier on them.”

Working with all insurance companies, Good Guys also helps customers pay their deductibles. Theall said they cover up to $500, so that money will not come out of your pocket.

Hail damaged Jonesboro resident Jerri Jo Winters’ car in more ways than one. She said her vehicle was hit at her home near NEA Baptist.

“The hood is going to have to be replaced, I’m sure,” Winters said. “I got a broken windshield and door panels.”

Theall said Good Guys offers a lifetime warranty, in case a customer suffers damage again in the future. He said he would not leave town until all the cars were repaired.

“If they need it again and we don’t happen to be staying here, we will send somebody there, we’ve got someone close always,” Theall said.
