FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A man has been arrested after police say he threatened staff at a Downtown business with a knife.
On June 14, just before 8:30 p.m., Fargo Police were called to the 100 block of Broadway North for a disturbance.
Reporters on scene originally reported seeing several police cars pull up to the business with their guns drawn.
Police say there was a disagreement between the suspect, later identified as Devarn Aubrey Maxwell, and the staff of a business. FPD says Maxwell refused to leave the establishment, and began threatening staff with a utility knife.
The business was evacuated and police arrested Maxwell, a 42-year-old male with no permanent address, for two counts of terrorizing.
