A long-time business in Reedley is losing their lease

A longtime furniture store in Reedley is closing its doors for good. The Reedley Trading Post has served the community for 32 years and is best known for its one-of-a-kind items. The shop is iconic for its unique vintage furniture and décor, particularly during the holiday shopping season.

Unfortunately, the trading post has lost its lease, and due to increasing financial difficulties, the owners have decided to liquidate everything in the store.

Julie Skogsberg and her mother started the business in 1993, and later Julie married Doug. Neither of them anticipated being in business for this long.

Now, 32 years later, they continue to help community members create lasting memories. When reflecting on their journey, they say they wouldn’t change a thing.
