A2 Wellness Fair at Homes Brewery to focus on health and fitness

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Local athletes and wellness businesses will promote healthy living and fitness during the A2 Wellness Fair at the Homes Brewery Campus on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Community members can browse workout gear, get a massage, buy self-care products, watch fitness demos and mingle with University of Michigan athletes between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Kidokinetics, Forged Barbell, and Eclipse Yoga will be on site offering ticketed fitness classes for adults and children throughout the day, including Vinyasa yoga, a cold plunge, an Olympic Strength class, and family-friendly movement sessions. Class prices range from $10-$25, with proceeds going to grief-support nonprofit Ele’s Place. Tickets can be bought here.

Several Ann Arbor area health and lifestyle businesses are participating in the market, such as Bodhi Work, Heyday, Reach Bodywork Studio and BYOC, Co.

Organizers said attendees can enter to win affle prizes from local sponsors like Dozer Coffee and Planet Rock.

• 8:30-9:30 a.m. | Vinyasa Yoga Class by Eclipse Yoga

• 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | University of Michigan Athletes Meet & Greet with Hail! Impact

• 10-10:20 a.m. | Family Sports Fun – Ages 3-5 with Kidokinetics of SE Michigan

• 10:30- 10:50 a.m. | Family Sports Fun – Ages 3-5 with Kidokinetics of SE Michigan

• 11-11:20 a.m. | Multi-Sport Mania – Ages 5-11 with Kidokinetics of SE Michigan

• Noon – 1 p.m. | Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting by Forged Barbell

• 1:30-2:30 p.m. | Cold Plunge by Forged Barbell
