AAA estimates a record 70 million people will travel 50 miles or more the week of Independence Day.

More than 60 million people will travel by car.

Car rental company Hertz projects that Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco will have the highest demand.

Some travelers prefer to take to the skies.
