The programme includes the chance to perform in a new parent-child interactive play based on an ancient Chinese book dating from the pre-Qin Dynasty.
The play is an adaptation of Mountains and Seas: A Fantasy Journey. Parents and children are invited to join the stage and participate in the performance based on an adventure to the ancient mountains.
Adora Cruises also invited members of the Shanghai Theatre Art School to provide guidance and add more exciting parent-child interactive sessions to lead guests through the mysterious journey interwoven with light, shadow and music.
Children get the opportunity to summon and fight five mythical beasts and collect coloured sacred stones.
The summer-themed sailings run from June to end of August and also include a series of activities centred on marine culture, including themed cabins and exclusive benefits for designated parent-child entertainment items, specialty restaurants and shore excursions.
Adora Magic City has carried nearly 150,000 Chinese and international guests on 35 cruises since launching at the start of this year. The ship has 2,125 cabins and suites and can accommodate up to 5,246 guests.
