AG Nessel is Sending out a notice about Health and Travel Clubs

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has sent out another notice about how to protect yourself. And to make sure you are making good, sound financial decisions.

At the beginning of every year a lot of people have a plan to save more money, to be more fit, and to travel more, however for as hard as you work to obtain your goals there are those who want to take advantage of you. Nessel says the first thing you should determine is, can you afford the membership. whether it’s a month-to-month payment or you are paying for all of it at once. If you decide to cancel the membership whether you become ill or you move, is there a cancellation fee?

It is always imperative that you read every contract before you sign it and make sure you understand the fine print.
