The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra easily leads the competition

When it comes to smartwatches, no one can argue that Samsung doesn’t know what it’s doing, and with the Galaxy Watch Ultra it definitely knows what it’s doing, and our readers seem to agree which is why it won the AH Reader’s Choice Award for Best Smartwatch of 2024.

There are lots of things to love about the Galaxy Watch Ultra, not the least of which is the included BioActive Sensor to improve the health metrics accuracy. It even had some stiff competition for the best smartwatch of the year, but that didn’t seem to matter one bit. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra won by a pretty large gap with 66.5% of the votes. The next closest was the Google Pixel Watch 3 at 20.4% of the votes. Finally, there was the OnePlus Watch 2 which got 13% of the votes.

That’s a pretty big win for Samsung, although we’re not surprised in the slightest. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a great smartwatch and consumers love Samsung. Understandably so.

A super bright display that’s easy to see on any adventure

One of the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s best traits is its display. It’s big, but also incredibly bright so it’s easy to see no matter the conditions. If you’re someone who loves to go on outdoor adventures during the Summer, then this display is your best friend because the glare from the direct sunlight won’t hinder your ability to see important information.

But it isn’t just about the display. The Galaxy Watch Ultra also delivers on functionality. In large part because of the Quick Button that allows you to launch several different functions. This button is a major convenience factor as you can set any number of functions to it, and with a single button press, you can launch that function. Whether that be an app, a menu, or an activity within an app.

Pair that with pretty good battery life and strong performance thanks to its chipset and Wear OS 5, and you have a real winner on your hands. That’s why the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra won the AH Reader’s Choice Award for Best Smartwatch of 2024.
