AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 4, Max Deals: Early Black Friday Price Cuts
Apple AirPods offer strong audio, great features and intense integration with the Apple ecosystem. Right now, there are strong discounts on almost every model, and we’ve not even got to Black Friday yet. Here are the latest deals.
The deals highlighted within this post were independently selected by the Contributor and do not contain affiliate links.
Apple AirPods Pro 2
$179, usually $249, from Amazon
$179.99, usually $249.99, from Best Buy
Take $70, or 28%, off the list price for the premium Apple in-ears. This isn’t the lowest they’ve ever been, and it’s highly possible that when Black Friday is properly underway that there will be further discounts. However, this is an extremely good price and further price drops are unlikely to be more than around $10. You can wait, or have the AirPods Pro 2 in your hands (and ears) that much sooner with these offers.
AirPods Pro 2 have great noise-cancelling—estimated as twice as good as AirPods 4 with ANC—as well as snug fit thanks to different sized silicone tips. New features have just been added to the Pro 2 model including a Hearing Test and Hearing Aid support.
AirPods 4
AirPods 4 $119, usually $129, from Amazon
AirPods 4 $119.99, usually $129.99 from Best Buy
AirPods 4 with ANC $168, usually $179, from Amazon
Amazon has taken 8%, or $10, off the entry-level AirPods. This isn’t bad for a product which is barely more than a month old. If you want the model with ANC, it’s an $11 or 6% price cut at Amazon, bringing it down to $168. Personally, I’d go for the AirPods Pro 2 for an extra $11, but this is still a great product at a good price.
Best Buy also has $10 off the entry-level AirPods 4, but no reduction on the model with ANC.
AirPods Max
AirPods Max USB-C from $529, usually $549, from Amazon
AirPods Max Lightning from $459, previously $549, from Amazon
AirPods Max Lightning $499.99, previously $549.99 from Best Buy.
As you’ll know, Apple just refreshed the over-ear AirPods in September, replacing the Lightning connector with USB-C and introducing new colors. Reductions on the new models are small—around $20 or less on Amazon—but if you like one of the new colors like the gorgeous orange, that’s what you’ll be going for.
However, if you don’t mind a Lightning connection, there are no other major differences between first- and second-generation and the price cuts are very different.
Blue and Space Gray both have $90 off the original price, coming in at $459. Green and silver each cost $479, while pink is $499.99.
Best Buy matches the Amazon price for pink at $499.99 and has the same price across the Lightning colors. There’s no discount on the USB-C second-gen model.
I’ll be reporting on new deals as we see them, but these are decent early AirPods Black Friday price cuts.
