Akshay Kumar is regarded as the actor who makes maximum films in a year and is well known for his punctuality. Despite several failures, the actor so far has never talked about his films tanking at box office or discontinuing to make films. In a recent interview, choreographer-film producer Ahmed Khan revealed why Akshay Kumar continues to make films and how he reacts when his films fail to make money at the box office. “Usko paiso ki kya zarurat?”, says Khan.

In a recent conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Ahmed Khan said, “Look at Akshay’s work. Do you think that man, does he work because he is in need of money? Do you think he needs money that’s why he is working? What’s the need for Akshay to work? But he says Ahmed, ‘Kaam kaam hota hai. Every time you get an opportunity, treat it like your last job. Give it all.’ Why does Akshay Kumar needs to do all this?”

He added, “He never opens up about his failures. He only cares if he gave it his all. He only cares if he gave the film his 100%. That’s all he cares about. This is how it has been for him forever. He doesn’t overthink it. Whatever changes he needs to do is all behind the doors, he doesn’t share all that. He works hard.”

Ahmed Khan also spoke about the actor’s punctuality. “He is punctual. Suppose we have a roll at 7 am, at 6:30 am I receive a call, ‘Sir, Akshay sir’s car is here. Sir Akshay sir is in the van, getting ready, Sir Akshay sir is asking if he should walk out, it is 5 minutes to 7.’ As soon as I say, ‘yes, camera ready hai kya?’ He’s here. ‘Chal ready hu, 7 baj gaya.’ Success and failure doesn’t affects him when he has reached before you and you have failed to come late, not that you have come late, you have come after him. He never even gets mad at you or makes you feel that you made him wait”, he said.

Festive offer
