WEATHER SUMMARY
HOT AND LARGELY DRY THROUGH WEDNESDAY – A SWITCH TO COOLER AND OCCASIONALLY WET WEATHER THURSDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
Pleasant very warm to hot weather will continue for another couple of days through Wednesday with humidity levels creeping up slightly. Because of the increased moisture, it will be possible for isolated showers and t’storms to crop up both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons but coverage will be limited with most areas remaining dry. Highs on Tuesday will range from the mid to upper 80s with mid 80s likely on Wednesday.
Then a shift to cloudier, cooler, and occasionally wet weather will begin later Wednesday night as a slow moving upper level low pressure system moves into and through the Northeast through the weekend. No day will be a washout, but each day from Thursday through Sunday will feature opportunities for showers and thunderstorms with the cloudiest and most active day for rain potentially happening on Thursday with some wet weather in the morning and again during the afternoon. Temperatures will generally range through the mid 70s Thursday and Friday with low to mid 70s over the weekend. With chilly air aloft developing, especially Friday and Saturday, it will be possible for some hail in any afternoon thunderstorms that develop.
