Alleged Illegal Gambling Triggers Search Warrant at Springfield Business, One Charged

SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE (Smokey Barn News) – On Friday, September 13, 2024, the Springfield Police Department executed a search warrant at Park Circle Market, located at 1616 Memorial Blvd. MAP The warrant followed a complaint regarding alleged illegal gambling activities at the market triggering an investigation.

According to city officials, an employee of Park Circle Market was arrested and charged with Gambling Promotion, a misdemeanor. The individual was booked into the Robertson County Detention Center.

Though not named in the city’s release, and the city did not want to confirm, 32-year-old Narendrakumar Hirabhai Prajapati was booked into the Robertson County Detention Facility this afternoon under the same charge by the same agency. His bond was set at $1000.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to address the allegations.
