Alpine skiing star Mikaela Shiffrin chases World Cup win No. 99 as she returns to action this weekend (Saturday 23 November) in Gurgl.

The Austrian resort makes its women’s circuit debut with a slalom event, followed by the men’s race on Sunday.

Fresh off her 98th World Cup victory in Levi, Finland, the 29-year-old heads to the Ötztal Valley aiming to close in on the 100-win milestone, potentially reaching it in front of a home crowd in Killington, Vermont. In Austria, Shiffrin also has the opportunity to add to her record 61 slalom victories.
