Amazon Is Giving Away 18 PC Games to Prime Members – IGN
Update 7/11/24: Amazon has added three big games that will be available for Prime members to claim for 48 hours, starting July 16 at 3am ET. The games are Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Chivalry 2, and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. We’ve updated the article below to reflect the new additions.
As part of the lead-up to Prime Day, Amazon is giving Prime members 18 PC games for free. The idea is to promote Prime Day, and to get people who enjoy video games to sign up for the service (which gives out free PC games each month, just not usually this many). This batch of games includes standouts like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Hitman Absolution, KOTOR 2, and more.

Prime members can redeem the games here. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up now, even just for a month, to get all these games at no extra charge. You can also check out our 10 favorite early Prime Day deals to see what’s already on sale, or just look at the gaming category here.
News of the PC game giveaway came right after Amazon officially announced the dates for Prime Day, a huge sale event that runs July 16 and 17, 2024. The online retailer’s mega-sale will offer its usual Black Friday-level discounts on nearly all categories of items.
Without further ado, let’s look at the full list.

As you can see, some of the games are available now, while others will roll out on specific dates between now and July 16. It’s also worth noting that you have to redeem these games at specific online storefronts, like GOG, Epic Games Store, and more. I suspect that has to do with what deals and promotions Amazon was able to make to secure the games.
The only requirement to downloading the games is that you need to be a Prime member. That’s also going to be a requirement to take advantage of the Prime Day discounts once the sale begins on July 16. If you sign up now, even just for a month, you’ll be able to get all the games listed above, plus access to every Prime Day deal during the sale event.
You can read more about the games in Amazon’s blog post about the promotion.
