An Elaborate Entertainment Complex Is Taking Pickleball and Rotisserie Chicken to Henderson
One of Southern Nevada’s biggest trends of 2024 is proving to be the play-and-drink hybrid. The latest entry is hitting Henderson next week with the opening of Chicken N Pickle, an entertainment complex with more than a dozen pickleball courts, backyard games, a beer garden, and a restaurant that serves up rotisserie chicken.
Chicken N Pickle opens at 3381 Saint Rose Parkway near Maryland Parkway on Tuesday, November 19. The sprawling three-acre, multi-level complex will have six indoor and eight covered outdoor pickleball courts — including pickleball that is playable for people using sports wheelchairs. Chicken N Pickle will have dining areas on two levels, a sports bar, a dog park, beer gardens, and brunch buffet, and yard games like shuffleboard and cornhole.
The restaurant serves rotisserie and fried chicken, smoked wings, pork and beef sandwiches, and fries and tots. Saturday brunch looks like chicken and waffles and French toast. And the bar serves cocktails like sparkling strawberry lemonade and spicy blackberry margaritas.
Chicken N Pickle in Henderson will be the company’s 11th location. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are among the investors who contributed $10 million to the chain last year for expansion. The pickleball complex opens in a year marked by the debuts of similar venues. In February, the oversized arcade bar, Play Playground, opened at the Luxor. An outdoor golf experience was one of four to open this year, including the high-tech Atomic Golf and the newest nightclub-style Swingers mini-golf. And less than a year ago, a dart bar hit the Las Vegas Strip.
Chicken N Pickle will host grand opening events from Tuesday, November 19, to Sunday, November 24 with giveaways, raffles, and entertainment. Court reservations will be available most days from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
