Analyst Shares His Final Expectation From Apple’s “Its Glowtime” iPhone 16 Launch Event

With Apple’s big event being merely a few days away, reports are emerging with last-minute leaks and speculations of what new devices will be announced and their given specifications. The limelight of this keynote would be undoubtedly the upcoming iPhone 16 series to be unveiled on September 9th. We are expecting Apple Intelligence to take center stage with the new capabilities it is bringing in and how it has been incorporated into the latest devices. A report has surfaced, sharing details on what we can expect from the upcoming event and the latest updated information.

A new report gives away some key information regarding the upcoming products that are to be unveiled at the Apple event

Mark Gurman has shared his expectations regarding the new products that Apple will be launching on Monday, and any last-minute updates on the upcoming devices have also been incorporated.

iPhone 16 Pro

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have a sleeker design, slimmer bezels, and a larger display, this time 6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro would have 256GB base storage and would come with the 5x telephoto lens that has been exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple is featuring faster chips for the series with an upgraded Neural Engine that would help with incorporating Apple Intelligence. One major change is the new Capture button for both models that would work as a DSLR’s camera shutter button, allowing one to focus on the subject by pressing the button lightly and then harder to take a picture.

AirPods

Apple is adding new functionality to the fourth-generation AirPods this time that would allow the wearable to work as a hearing aid alternative and even be used for hearing tests, which is a huge leap in the category. However, Apple has said to have recently discovered a software-related bug in the device that could lead to delayed availability.

Apple Watch

This would be the first time that Apple had decided to upgrade all of its Apple Watch models at the “Its Glowtime” event. The Apple Watch Series 10 would undergo a major design overall, going for thinner casing and a larger display size. Since the Apple Watch 7 series, Apple has not made any noteworthy updates, so this would be the first design upgrade in a while. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to bring internal improvements and not any major external improvements. Apple Intelligence capabilities would most likely not debut on the new device but could be announced as a future health feature. It was initially speculated that the Apple Watch would come with a hypertension-detection feature, but new reports suggest that might not happen this time around.

We expect the new iPad models and the new Mac to be unveiled at a follow-up event in October rather than September. More details will emerge on Monday, and Apple might surprise us with any last-minute release.
