Annual Fashion Night Out fashion show benefits Meals on Wheels

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The runway is only just cooling down after local clothing brands were displayed in front of Wichitans of all ages during the 8th annual Fashion Night Out.

Local boutiques and other businesses participated in one of the biggest fashion events in the city. Stores like Mik’s, Annie Jewel and Charlie’s, Regeneration, and the Containery were just a few locations providing looks and accessories to show off during this year’s runway show. In between the runway shows, there were silent auctions as well.

With all proceeds going toward Meals on Wheels of Wichita County, the chairperson of the show, Robin Cook, is very happy to serve with a fashion show.

“It’s so exciting to see the community turn out for a fashion show that benefits the community. It benefits Meals on Wheels of Wichita County,” Cook said. “I mean, it’s thrilling to see the community turn out for something like this and to participate in a fashion show!”

Meals on Wheels of Wichita County has served the Wichita Falls area since 1965. It ensures that seniors and young adults in need of financial help get nutritious meals in a world where groceries continue to get more expensive by the day.
