Apple AirPods Pro 2 Just Dropped To New Lowest-Ever Price In Black Friday Deal
Apple AirPods Pro 2 usually cost $249. Right now, you can snag them for an all-time low price: $154. That’s a full $95 off the list price. With Black Friday just hours away, this price may not stick around for long.
The price is available at Walmart and you can order online for shipping on Nov. 29 or pick up instore tomorrow. And soon after the price went live at Walmart, Amazon matched (actually undercut it by 1c, making it $153.99, to be exact).
These prices are the lowest either retailer has sold these headphones for, ever. And it follows a series of yo-yo price drops in the run-up to Black Friday, so that, depending on which day you placed your order you could pay $189 or $169. But this price undercuts everything else.
And it’s a great time to buy AirPods Pro 2. There’s no suggestion that a new version will be around soon, and new features are launching regularly.
AirPods Pro 2 offer remarkably good audio, especially with its class-leading noise cancellation. And since AirPods 4 with ANC cost $179, the current offer undercuts that by $25, and the noise-cancelling on the Pro 2 is much better than on AirPods 4. There’s also Transparency Mode so you can hear the outside world without removing the earbuds, and Adaptive Audio blends Transparency and ANC.
As well as ANC, AirPods Pro 2 have strong noise isolation, thanks to the four different silicone ear tip sizes. You can now shake your head to decline a phone call, or nod to accept it.
Among the newest features is the Hearing Test, currently in beta. With this feature, you can take a short test where, after listening out for trios of beeps for around five minutes, you’ll find out if you have hearing loss. In some countries, like the U.S., this feature means AirPods Pro 2 can work as a clinical-grade hearing aid, with personalized dynamic adjustments.
Add in spatial audio, decent battery life, a MagSafe charging case and Find My capabilities and you have some of the most accomplished earbuds around.
The Walmart price was due to have ended by now, but it’s stayed live because of Amazon price-matching. But who knows how long it will last?
